Overview

Clematis ‘Hagley Hybrid’ is a tough and hardy shrub with dark green foliage and an abundance of large pink flowers with red anthers. This late blooming clematis is a great option for Summer garden displays, with its large, showy flowers and compact growth it can fit anywhere in the garden with ease, working well when trained on fences or trellis supports. It is also well suited to small gardens or in pots and containers due to its compact nature. Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates full sun but prefers a partially shaded area with the base kept out of the sun. This reduces bleaching or fading of the flower petals when in bloom. Pot Size: 9cm Plant Height (Including Pot): 20 - 30cm Characteristics: Compact deciduous climber with dark green foliage and large pink flowers. Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 1 - 2m and spread of 0.5 - 1m. Flourishing Season: Flowers from mid-Summer to early Autumn. Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in partial shade as too much sun will give flowers a faded colour.
