Our 75mm (3") Mechanics' Vice is a high quality cast iron vice capable of generating up to 1500kgf clamping force for general metal working applications. The Body and sliding jaw manufactured from high quality grey cast iron, which has excellent shock absorbing qualities. For added safety, the tommy bar will bend before the vice becomes over-stressed. Hardened steel replaceable jaw plates. Slide is precision milled to a high tolerance for a fast, smooth operation. Fibre grips are also available to prevent damage to workpieces (found in B&Q Stores).
