Makita’s BO6050J dual action sander gives the option of using a single tool for a variety of tasks. For finish sanding or buffing, select the random orbit mode. In this mode the motion of the pad is orbital action with weak free-rotation. The alternative roto-orbit mode is best for coarse sanding or polishing. The motion of the pad is a combination of orbital action with aggressive forced rotation. The electronic controls give you a soft start and variable speed control, whilst the integral constant speed control maintains rotational speed under working load. The tool body has a comfort grip and a side handle to provide complete control. Abrasive discs or polishing pads attach to the pad using hook and loop. 150mm sanding pad 5.5mm orbit diameter. A slim skirt around the pad lets you work in tight spaces. The removable dust extraction spout allows connection to a vacuum extractor. Supplied with a type 3 MAKPAC connector case
